Pedophile Lies

Shortly after LiveJournal (LJ) deleted hundreds of pedophile sites, new ones popped up. One was the childlove community called “child love lives”. Started by Catherine, aka holokittynx, who describes him/her/itself – “for the sake of pissing you off I write incredibly steamy pedo-erotic fiction designed to titillate and arouse prurient interest in every cop who reads it.”

The first order of business was to find out if LJ really wanted to delete pedophiles like them….

“If LiveJournal decides that they do not wish a childlove community to exist on their servers, I will respect that decision and not attempt to start one again. LiveJournal at all times has the right to have whoever they want on their servers for whatever reason they want, and I will always respect that right.”

So LJ promptly deleted their new pedophile community.

Their responses?

Catherine started a new community and called cl- which stands for “child love”. Not only that, she/he/it said, “Anyone who purchases a permanent account will be banned. I also ask that all members be prepared to un-list any friends who purchase permanent accounts.”

So here’s the pedophile lies out in the open for all to see. They claim that if LJ were to delete their new site, that they would just go away quietly and find another place.

LIE

“I think it's fair to say that LiveJournal would prefer that this issue just quietly go away. But it isn't going to.”
~ desireneverends on July 17th

LJ is actually deleting sites that WFI re-reported. They appear to be taking action to remove the pedophiles from their sites, and then to ban the users from accessing LJ all together. We are keeping track of the sites that are being suspended and will continue to report the new pedophiles as they spread and fester throughout LJ.

UPDATE- LiveJournal must have noticed because the new "cl" community is now suspended.

LiveJournal Caves to Pedophiles

Backpedaling, flip flop, waffling, dodge, sidestep, about-face, give in, wimp out, ineffective…

Once again LiveJournal (LJ) is harboring admitted pedophiles. But this time it’s worse. LiveJournal had suspended many of these journals, but now they have backpedaled and decided to UN-suspend them.

I can understand the need to review journals that may have been suspended in error- but to cave in to pressure by pedophiles? That is inexcusable behavior.

What made them change their minds? Why did LiveJournal decide to cave in to pedophiles and child predators? What the hell are they thinking?

I’d like to know why LJ felt the need to UN-suspend sites like:

we_nympholepts

“its a group for ephebophiles or hebophiles, however you wanna spell it, if your attracted to teenagers, you should join this group. if you want to discuss adult-teen love - how it effects society, should it be legal? etc. , this is the group for you"

Hmmmm... did they mean Ephebophilia? Ephebophilia, also known as Phebophilia, Hebephilia, or Lolita Syndrome, has been defined as a sexual preference in which an adult is primarily or exclusively sexually attracted to pubescent adolescents. Adult-teen love- another name for pedophilia.

evolvingdesire

"It may be something that much of this country would honestly kill me over if they could, but nonetheless, childlove is starting to be something that I'm having an easy time accepting.”.... “I've fantasized a lot about a threesome with a certain mother and her four-year-old daughter."

So which part of fantasizing about raping a 4 year old didn’t LJ understand??

freakish989

He talks about an 8 year old girl sitting in his lap making him horny. He blames it on the 8 year old for squirming in his lap as he holds on to her butt. Oh, that’s right; he describes it as the 8 year old rubbing him sexually- once again, blaming it on the child.

gloriousgirls2

LJ shut down his first site. Now he has a second site- same filth, different page. I’m wondering how LJ can question this being a pedophile when he says…“I'm an exclusive Girl Lover. My primary romantic and erotic attraction is to girls between the ages of two and fourteen years old. …the whole idea that my attraction to LGs includes "sexual" attraction, the whole idea that I can find 5-year-olds to be "hot", etc.”

UPDATE: gloriousgirls2 has been deleted!

jerkmycock

“I think about incest, underage girls, little kids, abuse, humiliation, degredation... I fantasize about using and humiliating little girls, corrupting them and turning them into hot little whores.”

johneatscock

This guy talks about how “hot” it got between him and his 13 year old sister in law.

jokernude

He's a pedophile who loves little boys. The scary part is that he works in a daycare and wants to adopt children- boys of course....

"Say what? I want a kid? you bet I do. I work in a daycare even! A daycare?! yup, clean background check....I love the boys. I get to give them hugs and tickle 'em. I do the same with the girls, they're all kids, and it's all fun. I just like the boys more."

You’d think that LJ would want to notify the police about this pedophile. He’s admitting to grooming children in the day care that he works at. For those of you who don’t know, grooming is the way a child predator prepares his victim for sexual assault or rape. Predators can spend weeks, months, or even years grooming their victims. They are calculating, manipulative, deceptive, and very patient when it comes to acquiring their goal.

letsseesometits

He was arrested for soliciting a child on the internet for sex. Which part of that didn’t LJ recognize as being a child predator??

Then we have my-silent-war

He’s a known pedophile. He admits to it and even has a girllove symbol as his user picture…

"My name is Andrew. I am a paedophile. I am attracted to children: emotionally, socially and physically."

whirledtraveler

40 year old man who wants 14 year old girlfriends. He has a user picture of a young girl in underwear and titles it "lolita young 13 yo... Saturday night, wishing I had a lolita... it consumes my thoughts."

UPDATE: whirledtraveler has been deleted!

These are just a few of the journals that LJ has put back up online.

So once again, I have to ask LiveJournal, why are you allowing pedophiles and child predators to use your service to post about their attraction to children?

… retreat, submit, surrender, make concessions, pull back, weak, timid, indecisive, wishy-washy, weak-kneed, laughable…

ljkrissy says:

"Everyone on the team is truly sorry for what we all went through, and we’re hoping to get back to our version of normal as soon as we can."

If their version of normal is allowing pedophiles and child predators free rein on their site, then they didn’t accomplish anything.

barakb25 said:

"we are now actively exploring how we can let the community "vote" on what is acceptable content in order to create greater consistency.... Clearly law takes precedent over such votes, but in case where the line is not legal content but rather objectionable or acceptable content, community input can be a great help."

Oh, what a fine idea- letting the community vote on what’s acceptable. Which communities would those be, the child predator communities? How about the pedophile communities?

Just for clarification, child rape stories are not illegal. They are disgusting and unethical, but not illegal. LiveJournal does not have to host such sites. They have a choice and they choose to do so.

So does that mean that the pedophiles get to vote to keep their sites up because they are part of the LJ community?

LiveJournal expressed a genuine desire to clean up their site. They wanted to remove adult-child sex stories from their pages. They said they wanted to edit and remove some inappropriate interest categories and prevent new users from using them in the future.

They said a lot of things. Actions speak much louder than words. Right now LiveJournal is acting irresponsible and unaccountable. They are backpedaling so fast that they can’t see what they are doing wrong. When the dust clears, LiveJournal will look the same as it did before this happened.

So again, I ask LiveJournal, why are you allowing pedophiles and child predators to use your service to post about their attraction to children?

It’s Just Fiction

Pedophilia is not illegal. It’s sick and disgusting, but technically not illegal. Writing child sex/rape stories is also sick and disgusting, but technically not illegal.

Why do we want the child sex/rape stories removed from the internet?

Hmm, besides being vile and horrible beyond imagination??

It never ceases to amaze me that people hide behind the words "story" or "fiction" or "legal". While child rape/sex stories may not be illegal, they are pedophilia.

"Oh, but how can a story cause harm?", you ask. "It’s not real. I’m not condoning the behavior just because I write about it. It’s fiction for God’s sake!"

I’m not talking about an abuse victim asking for help and writing about their abuse in a therapeutic way. So don’t even go there with this. I am talking about people who write "stories" or "fiction" about children being sexually assaulted, molested, and raped. Whether it be for discussion or pleasure, detailed stories of explicit child sex is wrong. Saying that you enjoy writing these sexually explicit stories, and then saying that you are not a pedophile is laughable at best. Hiding behind terms like "story" or "fiction" or "legal" doesn’t excuse your behavior or prevent you from being a pedophile.

Pedophiles are sexually attracted to children. They often write child sex stories. They get off on these stories and pictures of children. The more ‘stories’ they read and ‘enjoy’, the more they fantasize about children. REAL CHILDREN.

So saying it’s just fiction, doesn’t cut it.

The LiveJournal Tapdance

Unless you've been living in a cave for the past week, you've probably already heard that LiveJournal, or LJ, had suspended hundreds of journals that they felt violated their terms of service. Warriors For Innocence had reported many journals that were "authored" by admitted pedophiles, and promoted illegal activity. LJ initially refused to do anything about them, but finally agreed; "even idiots get it right once in a while."

Unfortunately, LJ also deleted hundreds of unrelated journals, much to the dismay of many authors. In an effort to quell the huge backlash that they were receiving from their broad blanket of suspenses, they apologized, agreed to review each journal, and reinstate those that were mistakenly suspended. In their zeal to grease the squeaky wheel, they have also seen fit to reinstate many of the very journals that started this entire issue: those of admitted pedophiles. Nifty.

The word of the fine folks at LJ seems about as valuable as a wooden nickel. I hope you LJ customers have any and all agreements with them in writing.

The folks at Perverted Justice share that opinion, and even list LJ as a "corporate sex offender" for their habit of harboring pedophiles. Seems that pedophiles are still "okie dokie" on LiveJournal.

Missing The Point

Since so many people continue to submit emotion-based complaints about how "awful" it is that LiveJournal has chosen to enforce their own terms of service, here's a few points to consider:

-Comment moderation is on; we're not deleting comments.

-We simply reported journals that contained objectionable and, in some cases, illegal content which clearly violated LJ's TOS.

-LJ deleted journals of THEIR choosing.

-Readers/writers then began pointing the finger in every direction except toward those that CHOSE to violate LJ's TOS.

-Excuses galore have been pouring in, and heartfelt, "but I had been working on that journal for years," abound, while failing to acknowledge that they had not only not backed it up in years, but had been blatantly violating LJ's TOS for years.

-Claims have been made that we haven't "taken responsibility for" our actions. Yes; we have. We've clearly stated what we've done.

-Claims have been made that we're "hurting" the "legitimate" effort to fight pedophiles. How? By striving to ensure that their attempts to legitimize their sick ideas are not ignored by those that host them? Other claims that "law enforcement can't monitor them now" are baseless as well. They've already been reported to law enforcement, and those that make these claims are naive if they believe that LE cannot monitor these individuals simply because LJ has deleted their journals. Computer forensics has progressed by leaps and bounds in recent years.

Let the caterwauling and complaining continue; LJ has chosen to enforce rules that WERE ALREADY IN PLACE for all to see. "I finally got held accountable, and it's all your fault" won't fly here.

LiveJournal – Six Apart Delete Hundreds of Pedophile Sites

LiveJournal Says No to Pedophiles:

Setting a new precedent, LiveJournal, owned by Six Apart Incorporated, deleted over 500 of its sites or journals today. Responding to requests from Warriors For Innocence, LiveJournal chose to remove sites that promote pedophilia, child sex, child abuse, and other illegal activities.

LiveJournal has revised their Terms Of Service (TOS) to include new standards that will ensure that they protect the safety and well-being of everyone who visits LiveJournal.

As pedophiles and their sympathizers scramble to find new hosting options, we will be following them and contacting each web host in order to work to enforce a TOS that will ensure that these hosts maintain a responsible and respectable reputation.

LiveJournal and Six Apart have taken a very important step. They chose to maintain accountability for the content placed on their sites. By setting this precedent, they have opened the door for other web hosting companies like Blogger/Google, Blog.com, Xanga, Wordpress, and others to follow in their footsteps.

Special thanks go out to Scott Kraft, the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Six Apart, and Denise Paolucci, the Manager of Customer Service for LiveJournal. They have both been very helpful.

__________________

Many LJ users that have had their journals deleted are complaining to WFI that we targeted them and that we are on a witch hunt to shut down innocent sites.

To answer your questions and concerns, we do know what Lolita is and no, we did not report sites that are about Lolita fashion. Those sites were deleted by LJ because LJ (not WFI) chose to delete all sites with certain “interests” listed.

“Did it ever occur to you people that some of the people who have “incest” or “rape” in their interests are victims of said action?”

Yes, it did. We can tell the difference between a pedophile site and a survivor/support group site. And no, we did not ask for the survivor/support group sites to be deleted. We actually expressed our concern over keeping them up and running even though their interests may be listed as the same as a pedophile site.

You may find it easy to blame us for the deletion of these sites, but we are disturbed by their deletions as well. LJ is obviously trying to avoid accusations of discrimination by deleting all sites with specific interests listed. They made that decision, not WFI. Go ahead and point a finger at us. Call us vigilantes and idiots. Accuse us of banning or deleting you. But you forgot something. LJ is hosting your sites. It’s their call, not WFI’s.

I have no problem standing up and saying that yes, innocent journals were deleted by LJ. Yes it was done because I complained to LJ about pedophiles on their site. Yes, this has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people. And yes, I am sorry that there has been mass hysteria over this. But NO, we are not responsible. I will not take the blame for LJ enforcing their rules as they see fit. I may have been the catalyst, but I did not make the decisions for LJ. LJ can delete any journals that THEY view as containing objectionable content. Childish complaints that I “targeted” this journal, or that journal, are misplaced, and serve no purpose.

Many of you see us as wacky, unreliable, and misguided. You question the legality and legitimacy of what we do. You’ve threatened to turn us into the police and to call Quantico. You’ve threatened to sue us. You wonder who we are and what TOS we follow.

Well, here’s the scoop. We are Warriors For Innocence. We are NOT a non profit organization. We are a group of people who are sick and tired of pedophiles and child molesters hurting children and having a say on the internet without any type of accountability.

We do not break the law and we do not advocate breaking the law. For those of you who have been wondering, our Predator Barrier page is perfectly legal. Have you ever watched To Catch a Predator? Maybe you should.

Yes, we are working to clear out the RSO’s and predators on MySpace, we just don’t post about it.

“Can’t you people see that by attacking fandom journals, you’re driving the real pedophiles underground…”

No, that’s not the case. First of all, we didn’t attack fandom journals. Second, the “real pedophiles” are on many sites. They post on pedophile chat boards. They are on there now posting where their new sites are moving to. And yes, we will be following them, and we will be more proactive in the future at protecting ‘innocent’ sites.

There are sites where pedophiles are telling very young children that what their parents are teaching them is wrong, and that they should listen to pedophiles because they know what's best for them. The pedophiles tell kids that "bad touch" is not really bad, just because your parents said so. This is dangerous to children.

There are sites that advocate the lowering of the age of consent for sex. They describe their encounters with small children and talk about how sexy the 5 year old was and how turned on they are when the child smiles at them.

They also post explicit child rape stories for the purpose of sexually arousing themselves and other pedophiles.

This is pedophilia. This is why we do what we do.

LiveJournal and Six Apart: It’s time to do the right thing

Open Letter to Six Apart, the owners of LiveJournal:

Dear Six Apart,

I have found many ads on very inappropriate web pages that are hosted by LiveJournal.com. These ads are in close proximity to such subjects as Child Rape, Child Molestation, Child Abuse, Child Pornography, and other disturbing topics. I am sure that as a responsible and well respected company, you know nothing about this, just as the advertisers on LiveJournal do not.

I have been in contact with the LiveJournal Abuse Team about this very issue for quite some time now, and my concerns have fallen on deaf ears. I have also contacted Six Apart, but never received a response.

If you'd like, you can read some of the replies from LiveJournal on our site, Warriors For Innocence.

I have contacted these advertisers and informed them of where their ads are placed. I have had nothing but shock and thanks for my efforts. These ads are placed through Google Adwords and Google Adsense. The companies buying these ads do not know that they are paying for representation on web pages that list interests as "child abuse, child f***ing, child molestation, child porn, child sexual abuse, f***ing kids, f***ing little kids, f***ing young girls, kiddie porn, child sexual abuse, incest" and more.

I have taken many screen shots of these disgusting pages with the ads on them and will be glad to email them to you if someone will contact me with an email address to which to send them.

Unfortunately, these ads not only appear on individual sites, they also appear on general category pages, some of them called “f***ing children”. These general category pages will have the ad at the top of the page and show many sites listed that are “interested” in the same category.

Since there are literally thousands of sick pedophile and child sex sites like this on LiveJournal, merely requesting to have the ad removed from a single page or site will not stop the problem. The advertising companies have had to ask to withdraw their ads from all of LiveJournal.com in order to protect themselves and the reputations of their companies. I have emails from several advertising companies who have done just that.

Your advertisers are leaving LiveJournal. LiveJournal is doing nothing to stop this. You need to assess this situation and consider “cleaning up” LiveJournal and removing the sites that not only list these “interests” but also describe in graphic detail the sexual abuse and rape of children as young as 3 years old.

It’s time to value child safety above free speech. It’s time to do the right thing. If morals will not compel you to do this, then maybe loss of advertising dollars will.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Sues
WFI team member

LiveJournal: Child Rape, Child Molestation, Child Sex, Child Porn....

These are just a few of the “interests” that LiveJournal.com users name in their journals and profiles. Some are much worse and I won’t even print them here.

As we’ve reported before, LiveJournal.com hosts many journals/sites that have child pornography and child rape admissions/stories on them. Unfortunately LiveJournal cares more about free speech than they do about child safety and child porn laws.

One author talks about how "I can find 5-year-olds to be ‘hot’” and he tries to justify a child giving consent to having sex with an adult.

Another LiveJournal site, the author talks graphically about her Daddy raping his 9 year old daughter and sharing her with his friends. This was written as an explicit porn sex story. Concerned that there may have been child abuse ocurring we contacted the LJ Abuse Team. Their response was:

“…we cannot take action on content which is merely descriptive or philosophical in nature..”

So it’s OK to describe in graphic detail the sexual abuse and rape of a nine year old girl by her father and his friends, even though the author says it’s a true statement of something that actually happened?

Another LiveJournal site describes in detail the rape and continued sexual abuse of a 13 or 14 year old babysitter and her friend by a 35 year old man. This was written from the 35 year old man’s point of view. It was written, once again, as an explicit sex porn story, to sexually arouse pedophiles and child molesters. It also goes on to say “her brother had been f****ing her regularly for 5 years already.”

Well, that would have made her 8 or 9 years old when her brother started “f***ing” her. Was the LJ Abuse Team concerned that this may have not been “just a story” and that a crime may have been committed? Not in the least.

LJ’s Abuse team responded to my complaint by saying:

” Further, we regard the description of an illegal activity, an interest in an illegal activity, fantasizing about illegal activity, or even admitting to an illegal activity as something other than the commission of that activity. That is to say: writing a LiveJournal entry about having sexual attraction to minors is different than using LiveJournal to solicit a minor for sexual contact. The first is something on which we are unable to take any action; the second is something that we would consider actionable. In this case the story to which you have linked is disturbing. However, as the user describes it as "just a story," absent any accompanying imagery or incitement, there is no action we can take.”

I have a problem with the part about “even admitting to an illegal activity as something other than the commission of that activity.” This is America. The last time I checked, when someone admits to an illegal activity, the police need to be called to investigate.

Once again, it’s OK to write any type of graphic child rape material, as long as you say “it’s just a story” to cover yourself.

“writing a LiveJournal entry about having sexual attraction to minors” is not what these journals are doing. They are writing graphic, explicit descriptions of adult-child sex, with the express purpose of sexually arousing pedophiles and child molesters. Many of these sites authors are admitting to have committed a crime against a child. LiveJournal is required by law to report this. As I have told LJ before… “It is not ok for you to make judgments on whether this is a real crime that took place or not. That is up to Law Enforcement. It is not up to you to decide if "an admission to illegal activity is not the same as the commission of the crime." That is also up to Law Enforcement.”

LiveJournal refuses to enforce their TOS (Terms Of Service) which state, “You agree to NOT use the Service to: Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, …” Instead they interpret the TOS to suit their own needs and to accommodate the pedophiles and child molesters that they so vehemently defend.

Allowing users to post things like, “I am filled with lust every time I see a cute little girl. I crave things that can't happen. I dream about things that would get me arrested. I have no control over what I find attractive..” is very dangerous.

It’s time for some accountability. It’s time for LiveJournal and other sites to take responsibility for the actions of their users. I realize it is a huge burden to police such a large internet society, but when someone like WFI reports this type of abuse, it should not require weeks of arguments and emails to law enforcement agencies to get the sites deleted.

Child Porn, No Big Thing…

I’ve written before that I am sick and tired of people thinking that Child Pornography is not that big of a deal. It is a big deal. It’s not just some pictures that someone is looking at for the hell of it.

Child porn is not only 16 and 17 year olds, but also infants, toddlers, and 5-8 year olds being raped and tortured. THAT is the horror of child porn. And THAT is a big deal. It’s graphic, devastating, and leaves children and families scarred for life.

I cannot even begin to understand why such horrible images wouldn’t make a person sick. Only a monster would be turned on sexually by images of child rape and torture.

And for those pedophiles out there who think child porn is only visual images, I have news for you. In many countries it’s also any written material. And yes, I will find your web site and get it shut down and point the police directly at you.

When we reported the arrest of Nicholas Baudoin and Chad Evans, we received many comments and emails stating that we are on a “witch hunt” and:

“Assuming he just looked at pictures, I feel sorry for him. What seems like an almost victimless crime has ruined his life. I know the kids are the victims, but the kids won't be harmed when one more stranger looks at their picture without them knowing it.”

And this comment:

“However VIEWING it doesn't actually HARM anybody, so the immoral actions aren't anywhere near that of child porn manufacturers, distributers, or supporters. Somebody who views child porn is not a monster, just a pervert.” – Anonymous Pedophile

The following information clearly proves this pedophile wrong…

The NCMEC has a lot of wonderful information on their web site. They have statistics on child-pornography possessors between July 1, 2000, and June 30, 2001. Those statistics showed that most had pornographic images of prepubescent children (83%) and images graphically depicting sexual penetration (80%). Approximately 1 in 5 people arrested (21%) had images depicting sexual violence to children such as bondage, rape, and torture. More than 1 in 3 (39%) had child-pornography videos with motion and sound.

Forty percent (40%) of those estimated arrestees were “dual offenders,” who sexually victimized children and possessed child pornography, with both crimes discovered in the same investigation. An additional 15% were dual offenders who attempted to sexually victimize children by soliciting undercover investigators who posed online as minors.

Most had images of children who had not yet reached puberty. Specifically 83% had images of children between ages 6 and 12; 39% had images of 3- to 5-year-old children; and 19% had images of toddlers or infants younger than age 3.
_________

So, child porn, no big thing... Wrong! It's a huge thing and anyone who believes otherwise is either an offender or so naive that they are living in a fantasy world.

We wrote an article a while back about how Child Porn Leads to Molestation. You can read it here.

A special thanks goes out to the NCMEC and the Cyber Tip Line. They are helping to make a difference.

LiveJournal Allows Child Rapist Free Rein

LiveJournal (LJ) has many sexually explicit “journals” or personal sites that it hosts. I have no problem with that. It’s intended for adults and is legal, adult oriented material. LJ allows free sites for people to post their personal thoughts and feelings and to let anyone view this and comment on it. I have no problem with that either.

LJ also allows admitted child rapists, child molesters, and child abusers unlimited freedom to post about their exploitation and abuse. I have a serious problem with this.

We recently reported a LJ site/journal that described in gruesome detail the rape/molestation of a 3 year old boy by his older brother. This child molester went on to say that he continues to molest boys.

What was LJ’s response?

Dear LiveJournal user,

We acknowledge that this content is disturbing. However, it is not a violation of the LiveJournal Terms of Service to admit to having committed an illegal activity. It is only a violation to incite others to this activity or to solicit information on how to commit, or assistance in committing, an illegal activity. As this is not the case here, we will not be able to take any action.

We do take the issue of child pornography very seriously and will take swift action against any user who is posting pornographic images of minors, or using their journal to solicit minors for sexual activity. However, this user has not done so, and as they are not in violation of the LiveJournal Terms of Service, we will be unable to take any action.

Regards,
Theresa
LiveJournal Abuse Team

Did this answer your question?

No Theresa, this did not answer my question. I want to know how you can allow someone who not only admits to committing a crime, but describes it in graphic detail, to continue to post about it on your servers.

I have reported LJ and this site/journal to the NCMEC/cyber tip line. I also urged LJ to contact the NCMEC and report the child molester that they are accommodating with free web space to describe the illegal activities he commits. LJ is wrong in not reporting this crime and by ignoring it.

UDATE: Here's the latest response from LJ about this site we reported:

"Please allow us to explain our reasoning. First, the user is describing something that took place years ago, and there is noindication that such activities continue. Second, the user indicates that he himself was a minor at the time. Finally, although the useradmitted to illegal activities, an admission to illegal activity is not the same as the commission of the crime."
_______________________

My Response: You just admitted that this LiveJournal user committed a crime. The fact that it took place years ago does not give you the right to just ignore it. A crime was committed. Laws were broken. A child was abused. Period.

You are required by law to report this. It is not ok for you to make judgements on whether this is a real crime that took place or not. That is up to Law Enforcement. It is not up to you to decide if " an admission to illegal activity is not the same as the commission of the crime." That is also up to Law Enforcement.

We practically cleaned out Blogger of pedophile web sites. We plan on doing the same with LiveJournal.

Anyone who wants to join in, please let us know and we will add you to our volunteer group.
You can see our previous post about LiveJournal here.

Latest Update:
The site that this article is about has now been deleted. There are however, many more out there that LiveJournal continues to refuse to remove....

LiveJournal - Pedophile Sympathizers

LiveJournal is a free blogging/web site hosting company that many people use. There are individual sites and communities that can be joined. There are numerous areas, categories, and topics. Categories like “child sex, pedo love, child molestation, child porn, boys in panties, daddy little girl”….. and so on.

When contacting LiveJournal about these disgusting sites that they host, we point out that their TOS (Terms Of Service) are being violated and the sites are advocating adult-child sex and rape. Some sites even post pictures of children for the express purpose of arousing other pedophiles. The photos themselves may not be illegal, but they can be considered child porn if their purpose is to sexually arouse, which is exactly what they are being used for.

You’d think that LiveJournal would appreciate being directed to sites on their servers that should be shut down. Well, that’s not the case.

LiveJournal has removed a few sites, but will only do so to sites that advocate illegal activity. LiveJournal goes on to say that they “are not the thought police” and they will make no attempt to regulate the websites they host.

Here’s one response from LiveJournal about a site that was reported:

“For instance -- as disgusting as it might be -- we can't suspend a journal because it's talking about pedophilia in a theoretical manner, or is discussing it hypothetically, fictionally, or sociologically. We also can't suspend a journal just because someone expresses an interest in children in a sexual manner. We're limited to taking action on things that specifically break the law or encourage others to do so.”

So it’s ok for some predator to “make up a story” about how he would love to violently rape a 3 year old, and describe in detail the sick pleasure it would bring. After all, it’s only a “story” so it must be “theoretical”, right?

“We draw a clear line between protected speech and illegal activity, and we won't remove anything that doesn't cross those lines.”

Oh, lines are definitely being crossed. LiveJournal is just too blind to see it.

LiveJournal is clearly not enforcing their own TOS which states:

"You agree to NOT use the Service to:"..."Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive to another's privacy (up to, but not excluding any address, email, phone number, or any other contact information without the written consent of the owner of such information), hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;"

Doesn't LiveJournal consider blogs promoting child abuse Vulgar or Obscene?

I recently received a letter from “Ella” about a site we reported. Here’s the pathetic response we got back…

In order for us to take any action against this user, the content would need to be blatantly instructional material clearly designed to facilitate the promotion of and engagement in illegal activities. We have not been made aware of any links in this user's journal which are clearly instructional and promotional in nature. While we recognize that many individuals find this journal offensive, and that many people feel that the user should be removed, it does not qualify as advocating or instructing illegal activity.

While the material is distasteful, we cannot take any action. The content falls within the realm of material protected by free speech. LiveJournal attempts to preserve as much free speech as possible for its users, as long as that speech does not cross the line into invading another's privacy, violating local or federal law, or directly inciting violence or hatred against any specific, identifiable group regardless of whether that group is explicitly named in our Terms of Service. The content of this journal does not meet that criteria at this time.

We understand that many individuals are upset about this matter and we understand that even if individuals can understand the reasoning behind our policies, it is difficult to accept emotionally. We apologize that we are unable to assist you further. We strongly suggest, with the greatest respect, that you should avoid reading the community if you are offended by the premise or contents of the journal.

Regards,
EllaLive
Journal Abuse Team

LiveJournal may not want to take the time to deal with complaints about the content of these sites. But they ARE responsible for the content that is published on their servers, whether they want to be or not. They have not only a moral obligation, but a legal one as well, to monitor the content on their servers. They don't even care that children may be harmed because of something someone is publishing through them.

It’s time that they are held accountable for their actions and lack thereof. If you have a LiveJournal account, tell them you want them to clean up their act.

Blogspot/LiveJournal - A Haven for Pedophiles

We have found that two very popular internet services, Google’s blogging service, blogspot.com/blogger.com, and Live Journal (LiveJournal.com) openly accept pedophiles as users. These pedophiles not only talk about their lust for children, they even openly encourage child rape and describe ways to avoid detection. Many also post pictures of children on their sites. These pedophile sites clearly violate the Terms of Service (TOS) agreements.

Both Blogger and LiveJournal have been contacted numerous times about this issue. Neither of these companies is willing to remove these offensive and dangerous pedophile blogs.

LiveJournal has removed a few sites, but will only do so to sites that advocate illegal activity. LiveJournal goes on to say that they “are not the thought police” and they will make no attempt to regulate the websites they host. The problem with this is that the more insidious pedophiles are clever enough not to say anything too Black and White.

“We draw a clear line between protected speech and illegal activity, and we won't remove anything that doesn't cross those lines.”

Blogger refuses to even address the issue. There are pedophiles posting web sites that promote their sick agenda. These pedophile sites at Blogger have been “flagged” as offensive and yet, they still remain online.

Blogger’s response:

“Although we host that site, we are not in a position to adjudicate whether the content is offensive or not. Accordingly, consistent with section 230(c) of the Communications Decency Act, Blogger does not remove material in response to allegations of offensive material. In cases where a contact email address is listed on the page, we recommend working directly with the author to have this information removed or changed. We are sorry we cannot assist you further at this time.

Sincerely,
The Blogger Team”

We do not post pedophile web sites here. If you would like more information, please email us and we will provide you with it. I warn you though; you will find offensive material on these sites. I also would like for you to ask yourself how you would feel if your child, niece or nephew found these sites. Blogger does not even offer age restrictions or age verifications for their sites.

We are asking for help to put pressure on both Google and LiveJournal to remove these offensive sites. All they need to do is simply uphold their own TOS that is currently in place. It is important that the public be aware of what is going on for the safety of their children.
